Workshop on Workplace Infectious Diseases
Overview:
Workplaces are one of the most common places to spread infectious diseases such as coronavirus, influenza, tuberculosis, and HIV, as well as anti-microbial resistance. These diseases can affect our well-being, our colleagues and our loved ones. It is essential to understand how each of us can prevent the spread of infectious diseases through good hygiene practices, being aware of the different modes of transmission, the benefits of immunisation, and other precautions that each of us can put into practice. The Health Promotion Board and the Singapore National Employers Federation have collaborated to offer this complimentary Workshop on Workplace Infectious Diseases.

Participants will gain:
A broad understanding on the management of infectious diseases in the workplace.
Knowledge on handling potentially difficult situations involving infectious diseases and employees.
Skills and knowledge on how to implement or update workplace policies, procedures, and programmes to ensure the proper compliance to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and employment laws & regulations.

Target Audience:
Human resource practitioners, managers, directors, company owners, and any individual that has supervisory responsibilities or provides direction to perform a specific set of work activities, in a general workplace setting.
